Typography
Organizational names
As a contractor, you'll likely come across several different names when referring to Hope Channel. Here's a quick breakdown so you know exactly which entity you're working with and who your content is serving.
Hope Channel International
The official coordinating body for Hope Channel's global visual media network. Use this name when referring to organizational structure, leadership, and activities led directly by HCI.
"Hope Channel International provides strategic direction and resources to the entire Hope Channel Network."
Hope Channel
The brand name. Use it when referring to Hope Channel's global presence and mission — not when describing internal or administrative functions.
"Hope Channel delivers Christ-centered content to inspire hope and transform lives around the world."
Hope Channel Network
The full network of locally and regionally licensed channels and media entities around the world.
"The Hope Channel Network consists of over 80 media entities producing content in more than 100 languages."
Hope Channel International Global Feed
A broadcast service run by HCI that gives new or developing network channels a ready-to-air programming feed while they build out their own local content.
"The HC International Global Feed is one of many services HCI provides to the Hope Channel Network."
Following these guidelines will help make sure your invoice gets processed without delays.
What to include on your invoice
Business name & logo
Include your business name and logo if you have one.
Contact information
Full name, address, phone number, and email address.
Invoice number & date
Use a sequential numbering system. The date should reflect when you issued the invoice.
Contract number
Your HCI contract ID number — you'll receive this when you sign your contract.
Project description & line items
Give a brief overview of the project, then list each service separately with a clear description, quantity (if applicable), and your agreed rate.
Subtotal & total amount
Add up all line items for the total. If paying by ACH or wire transfer, include your banking details. If you update the invoice after submission, note the date of the change.
W-9
Include a W-9 with your first invoice of the calendar year, or any time your address changes. Download W-9 form ↗

Contracts & onboarding
Once preliminary agreements are in place, we'll draft a formal contract for legal review and then send it to you to sign.
Your point of contact is the best person to answer any questions about your contract terms.
Payments
Once your work is complete, submit your invoice along with any supporting documents using the Submit Invoice button in the invoicing section above.
Most payments are processed within 30 days of invoice receipt, unless your contract specifies otherwise.
We process payments daily, Monday through Thursday, in the order they're received. Invoices submitted after 3 p.m. on Thursday will be picked up the following Monday.
There's no hard monthly deadline, but payments are processed Monday through Thursday in the order received. To avoid delays, submit before 3 p.m. on Thursday — anything after that will roll to the following Monday.

Yes, but we strongly prefer invoices in US dollars whenever possible.

That depends on what's outlined in your contract. Review your payment schedule carefully — it will specify whether to invoice per deliverable, per milestone, or on a monthly basis.
Projects & communication
Your point of contact and project lead will set the communication cadence based on the project. In general, you can expect a check-in before work begins, a few touchpoints as the project moves forward, and another during the review stage.
